About Us
Basingstoke Hindu Society on behalf of Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council, the Basingstoke Carnival Hall plays a vital role in the local community, playing host to a multitude of local groups and community events.
Having been at the heart of Basingstoke for many years now, the centre has recently undergone a process of modernization – following a concerted community effort to save the Carnival Hall from demolition. It is the only public Hall of its capacity in the heart of town, is easily accessible by bus, rail and road, and there is plenty of parking onsite and close by the venue too.
It is suitable for a very wide range of events. Private parties, public meetings, charitable and fundraising events, child-based activities, keep-fit and dance classes, lectures, quiz nights, bridge competitions, weddings, christenings, and corporate events, have all hired the hall. Professional touring theatre companies perform at the hall on a regular basis.
