Terms And Conditions

• THE PREMISES MUST BE VACATED ON TIME. OVER-RUNNING IS NOT PERMITTED WITHOUT PRE-APPROVAL FROM BHS MANAGEMENT; EXTRA CHARGES MAY APPLY IN SUCH CASES
• HALL USER HAS TO SEGREGATE THE WET WASTE (food) AND DRY WASTE (paper/plastic/glass) AND TO BE TAKEN AWAY AFTER COMPLETION OF THE EVENT. CHAIRS-TABLE MUST KEEP IN THE PLACE AFTER ITS USE
• You are requested to set up the décor (including tablecloth/chair cover) / catering at the beginning of your event and to clear up before the end of the time you booked.
• Carnival Hall new licensing Act 2003 and the Local Authority has granted permission for the supply or consumption of Alcohol at late night. The user must have their own personal licence for alcohol consumption and designated premises supervisor (DPS) & administrator under this act and must follow the rules. * Each event: User is responsible to get Personal licence, Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) and or apply for Temporary Event Notice (TEN) to Basingstoke and Dean Council before the start of the event at the Carnival Hall site.
• No Cash. Bank Transfer only on the Name of Basingstoke Hindu Society (BHS)

• To secure booking, pay FULL amount up front; Payment is non-refundable, if not cancelled 48 hours before the actual event day including group booking for multiple days. All Outstanding payments must be paid in full before the event starts via Bank Transfer
• Booking is taken at user's own risk. BHS is not liable for any accidents or injuries incurred on this premise. (The expression "premises" shall include the Whole Main Building and on-site Car Park).
• Limited Permission is given for any posters/stickers which are to be placed on the walls. Please advise BHS Management at the time of booking if you are going to use the wall for decoration purpose. YOU are required to clean it without any damage to the wall colour.
• Users are required (by law) to make their group aware of all fire precautions. Fire Assembly points are marked around the premises. Emergency EXIT must be always kept clear. Users are requested to leave the premise if they found any emergency and inform to Booking officer immediately.
• BHS is not responsible for the loss or damage to any personal possessions on the premises. (Further charges may be made for any damages caused to the building and/or its contents because of negligence by the hall user).
• No Smoking or Vaping on these premises. Safety of the community people should be a top priority by hall user.
• Parking at the Hall car park is limited and reserved for the Hall User at their own risk. Park responsibly on the streets in nearby lanes.
• No FIRE-WORK at the premises without permission from BHS Management. No BBQ in the car park area.
