Terms And Conditions

• Vacating the Premises: The hall must be vacated on time. Overrunning requires prior approval from BHS management; extra charges may apply.
• Waste Disposal: Separate wet waste (food) from dry waste (paper, plastic, glass) and remove it after the event
• Furniture: Return chairs and tables to their original positions after use.
• Set-Up & Clear-Up: All décor (including tablecloths and chair covers) and catering must be set up at the start of your event and cleared before your booked time ends.

• To secure a booking, the full amount must be paid upfront. Payment is non-refundable unless the booking is cancelled at least 48 hours before the event date (including group bookings for multiple days). All outstanding payments must be settled before the event starts via bank transfer.
• Bookings are made at the user’s own risk. BHS accepts no liability for accidents or injuries occurring on the premises. (The term premises includes the entire main building and on-site car park.)
• Posters/Decorations: Limited permission is granted for posters or stickers on walls. Please inform BHS management at the time of booking if you plan to decorate. Users must ensure all items are removed and the wall surface is left undamaged.
• Fire Safety: Users are legally required to make their group aware of all fire precautions. Fire assembly points are clearly marked around the premises. Emergency exits must always remain clear. In case of an emergency, users must vacate the premises immediately and inform the booking officer.
• BHS is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. Additional charges may apply for damage to the building or its contents caused by negligence.
• Smoking & Vaping: Strictly prohibited on the premises. Users must prioritise the safety of all community members.
• Parking: Hall car park spaces are limited and used at the user’s own risk. Please park responsibly on nearby streets if necessary.
• Fireworks & BBQs: Fireworks are prohibited without prior written permission from BHS management. BBQs are not permitted in the car park area.
